matscalle - Temporary ban request

    Disclaimer: This is a request to make this user's ban a one off case, with a ban for 2 weeks to a month. Unfortunately we haven't implemented a system like this yet but the user's mental wellbeing is a concern, and has lead me to file this request.

    2. What did they do?

    The user proceeded to rage the entire day, causing continuous chaos in-game and on the discord server. I am convinced that their mental wellbeing is not in a good state at the moment and I and others agree that the user simply needs a break. The option of self-requesting has been told to him, but he refuses to take it. Therefore, I am requesting his temporary ban.

    1. What indefinitely bannable offense does this fall under according to the guidance for sanctions?
      Suicide threats, under rule 2e.

    2. Add logs and/or screenshots of the occurrence here, and tag any witnessing staff. Evidence of previous offenses that are not the direct cause of this request can also be added here.

    3. Are they known under any other names or IPs, and if so, are they currently (indefinitely) banned under those names and IPs? This information is used to keep track of ban bypasses.

    I vouch for this player being temporarily banned from the server on the basis that he threatened to commit a section 1 offence. I believe in his current state it is best if we don't force him into 30+ day waits if he came on and crashed the server just to get banned.

    If possible, the ban could be like a self request except obviously not a self request - but he could lift it himself by messaging Steven with a better mentality. It wouldn't be a sanction.

    the event along with the subsequent fallout is like watching a car crash but instead of it being two cars a lorry comes out of nowhere destroying everything and just when you think its over a plane then crashes down onto it destroying the entire street

    this tantrum reeks of "im angry bc i didn't get my way so im going to pull the suicide card to get sympathy so i can get my way" and it ain't going to work. dude needs a break.
