A few days ago, I got a new mechanical keyboard after my old one started to show signs of age.
Since it's an RGB keyboard, what colors should I set it to use?

Can it do that cool thing where it makes a color wave when you press a key? Otherwise just make it rainbow. Also, what keyboard? I am in the market for a new one

Yes. I currently have the color set to white.

The one I got is a SteelSeries Apex 5. It's got a little screen on it which is neat. They have an API documented on GitHub that can be used to show stuff on the screen or change what the keyboard looks like, though you need their engine to pull it off. Nonetheless, it still works with OpenRGB to an extent without their engine.

Interesting keyboard - I got Logitech G915 TKL a few weeks back and I love it.
I currently own 2 keyboards, A custom mechanical keyboard with MX Blues, And a Corsair k55, A really good budget keyboard.

Just got this keyboard, and I love it already. The magnetic wrist pad is wonderful and the keys make very nice clicky clicky sound
